What is CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impressions)? The price paid for every thousand times an ad is shown, whether or not anyone clicks.
In plain words CPM is used for awareness advertising, where the aim is to be seen by many people. It is a measure of cost for reach, not of results.
Questions to ask a company that offers this Who are the thousand people being counted? How do you measure that the ads were actually seen? A good company will answer these plainly and in writing. Vague or evasive answers are worth noting.
